His journey began with a Bachelor in Biochemistry from the University of Havana, Cuba, where he graduated with honors. His thirst for knowledge and desire to make a tangible impact in the medical field led him to further his studies and professional training at prestigious institutions, including Florida International University, and Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine. Wanting to advance his dental skills, Dr. Garcia was accepted at his alma mater to complete a one-year residency in Advanced General Dentistry to focus on implant placement, molar root canals, and oral surgery.
Dr. Garcia’s commitment to service extends beyond the clinic. He has been actively involved in volunteer activities aimed at providing free dental care to those in need, both locally in Cleveland, Ohio, and internationally in Jamaica. Through organizations like Medworks, and Zion Care International, he has touched the lives of many, offering not just dental care but hope and dignity.
Dr. Garcia holds memberships in the Academy of General Dentistry, the South Florida Dental Association, the American Dental Association, among others. He continuously attends CE courses, reflecting his ongoing commitment to professional development. Dr. Garcia constantly implements the use of advanced dental equipment such as CBCT, digital scanners, 3D printing, and novel techniques such guided implant placement and digitally driven smile design with the use of Exoplan and Exocad softwares.
